"Prediction of Hearing Levels from Acoustic Reflex Thresholds: (JSHR, 22, 697–707, December 1979), by Shlomo Silman and Stanley A. Gelfand.

The following errors should be corrected in our article. First, on page 702, the description of the intersection of the lines for Figures 2–4 was given as: Y = K1 and Y = –X + K2. The description should have read X = K1 and Y = –X + K2.

A second error occurred in the labeling of a line in our figures as Y = –X + 191.5. The labeling should have read Y = –0.45X + 141.5.

We hope that these corrections clear up any confusions regarding the article. We stress that these technical errata do not detract from the basic message of the paper, and that each clinician should generate his or her own local data when the bivariate method is applied.

We thank J. Richard Franks and Gerald R. Popelka for calling these errors to our attention.
