The following special report has been prepared from information supplied by the Hearing Aid Industry Conference (HAIC). Similar information has been supplied to other journals concerned with the evaluation of hearing impairment. It summarizes two years of coordinated effort toward the development of a uniform interim standard for bone conduction audiometry to which all clinical and diagnostic audiometers can be calibrated during the period of development of a final ISO standard. JSHR welcomes this opportunity to join with other journals in bringing these important data to members of our profession. (Ed.)
