On page 516 of the September 1967 issue of JSHR, the article “Effect of Distinctive Feature Pretraining…” by Harris Winitz and Linda Preisler, there was an error in the second sentence of the second paragraph. The sentence which read “Acoustic and articulatory features are used to form binary oppositions, none of which are used in English…” should have read “…some of which are used in English…”.

On page 68 of the March 1968 issue of JSHR, in the article “Amplitude Distributions of Cochlear Microphonic Response…” by Donald C. Teas and Gretchen B. Henry, the second and third lines contained an error. The text read, “A 500,000 Hz sinusoid was used and therefore our sample histograms are computed from the Turn III activity where the response to 500,000 Hz is strongest.” In both instances 500,000 Hz should read 500 Hz.
